Internal Communication Purpose Statement Support employee engagement by: facilitating ongoing and open dialogue to connect employees to each other and to Alegent Health; and increasing employee understanding of how what they do every day helps to achieve our strategic priorities and fulfill our Mission Commitment Line of Sight = + Engagement Do they know what to do?   6. Alegent Health’s Internal Communication Objectives Increase understanding of the connection between individual contributions and the fulfillment of the Strategic Priorities. Increase appreciation of the value of being part of Alegent Health, including the rewards of being an Alegent Health employee. Equip managers to effectively and consistently communicate to employees by: Articulating expectations of managers in communicating, Improving managers’ understanding of business literacy and Increasing managers’ awareness and use of communication tools. Increase opportunities for employees to connect with each other and Alegent Health. Serve as role models and stewards of trust. 6
