  3. OC Eagle Eye • The next OC Eagle Eye meeting will be on Tuesday, November 5th, after school in the lecture hall. • We will assign articles and discuss future plans for the paper. • New members are always welcome. • See Mr. Finnegan in room 205 for more information on Tuesday's meeting.

  4. Attention Current NHS Members There will be a brief meeting on Monday, Nov. 4 at 2:45 in the Lecture Hall We will be discussing the new member induction ceremony

  5. Attention all Forensics Students: Please check your email for information on scheduling practices. See Mr. MacDonald if you have and questions.

  6. All Student Ambassadors should check their e-mail. •  Any sophomores who are Student Ambassadors should meet Ms. Coleman in J304 after checking in with their homeroom teacher on Wednesday. •  Any juniors who are Student Ambassadors should meet with Ms. Coleman after checking in with their homeroom teacher on Thursday.   • Any seniors who are Student Ambassadors should meet Ms. Coleman in J304 after checking in with their homeroom teachers on Friday.

MAPS • Attention MAPS Students • Please submit fee and permission slip to Ms. Spang for Challenge by Choice by Friday November 1st. • There will be a meeting Wednesday, November 6th directly after school in the Study Area. • Please bring any and all service ideas and we will be discussing upcoming events • See Mallory, Stephanie, or Ms. Spang if you cannot attend.

  10. Congratulations Shoko Konemato has been named a Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medalist for achievement in Math and Science.

  11. Oakland Catholic presents “Girl Rising.” A movie about nine remarkable women in developing countries and the power of education to create a better future for women in all parts of the world. The movie will be shown on Friday, November 8th in the JOA theatre after school. • Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria for 5$ beginning today during lunch. • All of the money made from ticket sales will be donated to CARE, a nonprofit organization supported by the Girl Rising Project. • Please show your support and buy a ticket today! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Kasunic in Room 208.

  12. Submitto Forté • Are you an ARTIST? Are you a photographer, a poet, a doodler, an author, a dancer, a painter? • Then submit your art, whatever it may be, to FORTE, OC’s Art and Literary Magazine • Drop off submissions in Room 208 or send scanned or video submissions to oaklandcatholicforte@gmail.com • Our theme this year is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE • Deadline for Submissions is November 15th

  13. Attention seniors:  There is an extension on the deadline to submit your baby photos.   • They are due by November 25th. • Please follow the instructions in your email for submitting them online • See Mrs. Haslett or Mrs. Flynn with any questions.
