  1. Hello, ActiveDeck! Your very first ActiveDeck Presentation This presentation demonstrates the basic interactive configurations that are available in ActiveDeck. Make sure you have the ActiveDeck AddIn installed, and you are running PowerPoint 2010 on Windows. Click on the ActiveDeck Tab in the Ribbon bar to see the ActiveDeck controls: Click the Show button to see a preview of the interactive slides that are part of the presentation.

  2. Current Slide • In this mode, the iPad will take a snapshot of the current main screen slide and show it on the iPad. • There is nothing to configure in this mode. Whenever the slide is updated, the remote slide will be updated. • To force the preview to refresh, select another slide, and then select this slide again.

  3. User Slides • In this mode, you can upload as many supporting graphics as you would like to be viewable during this part of the presentation. • Click through the list of slides in the configuration area to see each one previewed on the iPad. • Graphics should be 768 x 1004 pixels for portrait orientation.

  4. Short Answer Question • In this mode, you ask your audience a question, and each user types a response on the iPad before submitting.

  5. Multiple Choice Question • In this mode, you ask your audience to answer a question by choosing one of the responses you provide. • You can modify the question that you ask, and the available answers

  6. Categories • In this activity, you provide a list of terms and ask your users to sort them into buckets that you have defined, based on specific criteria or preferences
