  1. Welcome To System Protection www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  2. About Us We entered the market in 2002 in the Electric Testing & Maintenance – a field that is entirely uninteresting to the casual market observer! The players in this market were reactionary and engaged only when called upon in crisis. System Protection created value with the first-ever Managed Services offering in the Electric Relaying & Protection Engineering domain. System Protection started expanding the boundaries and changing the game by employing only selected first class Engineers as against a bunch of Diploma holder footmen. By introducing tactical innovations like: Health checkup and predictive system failure reports, System Protection engineers were now creating new value and system level insights for over 40% of the industrial clients in Gujarat alone. www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  4. The various functions of protective relaying are to: www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  5. • The prompt removal of the component which is behaving abnormally by closing the trip circuit of the circuit breaker or to sound an alarm. www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  6. • Disconnect the abnormally operating part so as to avoid the damage or interference within the effective operation of the rest of the system. www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  7. • Prevent the subsequent faults by disconnecting the abnormally operating part. www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  8. Disconnect the faulty part as quickly as possible so as to minimize the damage to the faulty part itself. For example, if there is a winding fault in a machine and if it persists for a long time then there is a possibility of the damage of the entire winding. As against this, if it is disconnected quickly then only a few coils may get damaged instead of the entire winding. www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com

  9. • Restrict the spreading of the effect of the fault causing the least interference to the rest of the healthy system. Thus by disconnecting the faulty part, the fault effects get localized. www.systemprotection.in | systemprotectionbaroda@gmail.com
