Une phrase conditionnelle • shows what will happen IF something else occurs • use SI… • two part sentences • can show things that are possible • If this is true, that will happen. • can show things that would happen if only… (not actually possible) • If this were true, that would happen. • can show things that would have happened if only…

Unepossibilité • Condition (si + présent)  Résultat (futur) • Si je finis mes devoirs, j’irai au cinéma • Sentence can go in either order, but the “si + present” must be kept together to express the condition! • J’irai au cinémasi je finis mes devoirs. = • Si je finis mes devoirs, j’irai au cinéma. • si + il  s’il • si + elle  no change! (sielle…)
