Code Of Conduct • Class I’s – Minor infractions • Class II’s – Intermediate infractions • Class III’s – Major offenses • Class IV’s – Zero tolerance
Consequences • Warning • Phone call to parent • Parent Conference • Guidance Referral • Cafeteria Duty • After School Detention • Inside School Detention • Out of School Suspension • ATOSS ( Alternative to out of school suspension) • Student Option for Success (S.O.S.) • Alternative School (Mattie V. Academic Achievement • Developing good work/study habits now • Completing assignments • Being on time to all classes • Strive to go beyond a 1.5 (G.P.A.) Grade Point Average • Promotional requirements (7th Grade is closer than you think!)

Fire Drill Procedures • Fire Drills are done once a month, twice the first month of school • Be aware of the exiting procedures from your class rooms • Maintain a quiet evacuation from the building • Stay with your teacher/class at all times • Follow directions at all times
Cafeteria Expectations • CHAMPS • Raise hand/ ask permission first • Stay at your assigned table at all times • Clean up after yourself • Teachers assign table monitors for cleaning tables/ assigned area
Textbooks • Make sure you know the location of all your textbooks for each core subject • Language Arts • Math • Science • Social Studies • Lost books must be paid for, including library books
Dress Code • Self-govern • No sagging pants • No pajamas • No bedroom slippers • Dress for success
Reading Goals • 1 million words in a school year • Read often • Log your book entries • Keep up with your reading log • Develop good reading habits • Set realistic goals for yourself
Academic/ Behavioral Self-check • Maintain excellent behavior • Develop good study habits • Ask for help if you need it • Follow directions/ think first • Know where your textbooks are located • Dress the part • Read often • 7th Grade is closer than you think!
