“Masterpiece”. Week 2. Last week…. Showed the “Skit-Guys” video Anyone give an update on that? What were some of the main ideas? What did you take away from that?. What I was hoping for. Last week I wanted people to see God’s desire for each individual (you specifically)

  2. Last week… • Showed the “Skit-Guys” video • Anyone give an update on that? • What were some of the main ideas? • What did you take away from that?

  3. What I was hoping for.. • Last week I wanted people to see God’s desire for each individual (you specifically) • What do I mean by that? • How does God want others to see you? • How does God want you to see yourself? • “God Made Me Good” • A Masterpiece

  4. A process… • State it • Stand in front of a mirror… (from skit) • Believe it • It’s one thing to say it, you need to believe it • Practice it • If you believe it, your behavior will show it • Experience it • Once you get here, all your experiences will be different, especially around others who believe it

  5. What do you want… • Do you want to be God’s Masterpiece? • What are you willing to do? • How can you start to make small changes? • What are you going to do when you fail/fall short? • Are you willing to do what it takes? • “Talk – chisel, talk – chisel, talk – chisel”

  6. What you’d rather do… • “Do you want to play God in certain areas of your life rather than let Him be God over your whole life” • In the “Pirates of the Caribbean” Captain Jack Sparrow had a compass… it pointed in the direction of that which he wanted most. • What do you want most? • What do you use as your compass?
