  4. Day 1: Introduction • K-W-L chart • Butterfly Kit • Observation Journal

  5. Day 2 • Presented a book: • From Caterpillar to Butterfly, By: Deborah Heiligman • Worksheets & butterfly illustration • Begin observation journals

  6. Day 3 • Present educational video • http://www.brainpopjr.com/science/animals/butterflies/preview.weml • Followed by discussion of video • Continuation of journals

  7. Day 4: Conclusion • Bring back K-W-L chart • Complete “L” • Read a fictional book to end the unit • My, Oh My--A Butterfly!: All About Butterflies (Cat in the Hat's Learning Library Series) By: TishRabe
