Tip-Sometimes you will have a percentage greater than 100 and a mixed number (a whole number and a fraction). Still divide the percentage by 100 to get the decimal. For the mixed number, the whole number is placed to the left of the decimal point and the fraction is divided to create the decimal. Ex- 4 ½ = 4.5 2 ¼ = 2.25 12 ¾ = 12.75 Ex- 250% = 2.5 389% = 3.89 1,325%= 13.25 Tip- When comparing two fractions you can also cross multiple.
