My Proposal • I am proposing a number of interviews on the subject of young people’s careers, employment chances and ambitions. The minimum wage and whether the low rate for young people could be regarded as age discrimination. • The minimum wage: is it age discrimination? • In this interview young people will be asked whether age discrimination is present in the minimum wage system. • I will interview 10 people, half over 18 and half under 18. I will conduct this research in various town centres by approaching people and asking for their permission to be interviewed.
Unique selling point • I believe my unique selling point is the debates and even protests that could arise between young people and parliament. • As the subject matter would highly interest a number of young people as it is already heavily debated in parliament and therefore really does have a profound effect on the young community.
