  2. Step 1: Click on Assessment Step 2: Click on “Create New”.

  3. Step 3: Click on “Are you creating an answer key only assessment?” and click “Next”

  4. Step 4: Enter Scanning Test Definition. ·Test Name ·Subject ·Click on Show Grades · Select Grade (Grade level of Course) and Course (ex. Algebra 1 is a Grade 8 Course) ·Click Grade/Course for Standard Selection and click "Next"

  5. Step 5: Enter Number of items (test questions) and click “Next”

  6. Step 6: Select State Standards and click “Next”

  7. Step 7: Align your Standards to the questions and click “Next”

  8. Step 8: Enter the correct responses and weight for each item and click “Next”

  9. Step 9: Set up Performance Bands by clicking on "Populate Default"

  10. Select the best template (MHS of course!)

  11. Save the Performance Level Template

  12. Set the Performance Band widths and click "Next"

  13. Step 10: Add question groups (OPTIONAL) (Skip this step)

  14. Scheduling a Test Step 1: Find your assessment and click on the Scheduling Icon

  15. Step 2: Set current roster, Scanning for method of delivery, Course, & Grade. (Click Refresh) Step 3: Select teachers or school and click "Re-Schedule"

  16. Pre-Slugging a Test Step 1: Click on the "Pre-Slug & Print" Icon

  17. Step 2: Click on "Pre-Slug Setup"

  18. Step 3: Check the following: ·# of Response/Items ·Template ·Response Type
