  6. Thumbs • Different, not like the rest, oddball, weird • Shorter • Fatter • Have a bad reputation • Clumsy people are “all thumbs” • BUT – they are strong, useful, handy to have • Every computer user needs a “thumb drive”

  11. I am a thumb • In school – elementary, middle school, into high school • In sports and gym – I was picked LAST • In class – I passed! • If I got a B- I was excited • Shortest in my class of 220 • In 10th grade I grew 11.5 inches

  12. Today – Thumbs don't make it • The world says you need four things to make it this life • Money • Beauty, sex appeal • Brains • Athletic ability • Thumbs are broke, ugly, dumb, & clumsy!

  13. Thumbs can be in heaven! • Spiritual and eternal success does not depend on money, brains, beauty or athletic ability • Spiritual success depends on who your Father is. • God is my Father • I am a child of the King
