  1. ICPS 1 • Two triallists have been selected: Energis and WorldCom • Energis and WorldCom are currently sharing the chairperson role. • The ICPS Implementation Group is meeting weekly on Thursdays at 10am.

  2. ICPS 2 • Industry Documents are being updated to reflect: • the revised Determination (issued Nov ‘00); • the file transfer system being the preferred Front-End System; and • the exclusion of Surftime and FRIACO number ranges from both ICPS and CPS. • New versions of the Process Manual (Issue 2) and the Product Description (Issue 3) have been agreed and will be posted on the Oftel website.

  3. ICPS 3 • Other documents will be updated concurrently with BT’s Front-end system development. This is estimated to take eight weeks. The trial is estimated to take a further three weeks. • As no OLOs have expressed an intent to use the Web Browser system, BT has been requested to focus its resources on the development of the File Transfer system.

  4. ICPS 4 • Estimated demand (validation requests) provided to Oftel exceeds BT’s estimated system capacity (100k transactions per month). BT is currently looking into potential system flexibility to process more orders. • The ICPSIG has agreed, endorsed by Oftel, that all ICPS-compliant autodiallers should be able to receive payment by BT. The issues now centre around how to achieve this in practice.
