  2. WHAT IS VIRTUAL REALITY (VR)? • Definition: • Virtual = near • Reality = what we experience as humans • Therefore, virtual reality means ‘near reality’ (Virtual Reality, 2009) • VR creates: • Computer generated worlds • Immersive environments

  3. VR WILL BE USED IN SO MANY WAYS? • Architecture • Art • Rehabilitation • Education • Engineering • Entertainment • Medicine • Military • Sex

  7. BRAIN CHANGES • Reactions after VR • Nausea or simulator sickness • Lack of real world sensations • Dream life disruption • Social isolation or lack of connection with others

  8. VR WILL PROVIDE THE ABILITY TO • Share dreams • Travel through history • Save data with a flick of the wrist • Spend time with someone who is miles away • Experience life situations a disability will not allow • Change the world as we know it today VIRTUAL REALITY WILL BE THE NEW REALITY
