  3. Can unit conduct split-based operations? • How many teams can they split into? • Are the teams equivalent or do they give up capabilities to split? • Do they give up mobility to split? • How long can they maintain split-based operations?

  6. New Appendix for Sample Collection and Shipping Requirements • Procedures for shipping different types of samples to different Service specific sites • Should be clearly outlined (Quick reference guides)

  7. New Appendix for Reference Labs • Address list and POCs by Service • What type of samples they handle • Should include reference and non-traditional labs that DOD can use as well

New Appendix for Request Procedures • Comprehensive outline of the procedures to request these capabilities • If I am in PACOM and want to task NEPMU-6; the JTF sends RFF to PACOM, PACOM requests from CPF, who in turn requests from CNO, who then tasks BUMED to support • All outlined with sample references
