ShaktiSamuha Reintegration Protection Recovery Two criteria for support at ShaktiSamuha : Under 18 years age Victim of sexual abuse or sexual exploitation / at imminent risk Girls who fit these criteria can be immediately taken into the protection of the emergency shelter. To date not one girl has been turned away.

Services • Protection/Emergency Shelter • Counseling and legal support • Social skills, life skills and awareness • Family Reintegration • Training, employment and independent living support • Referrals to long-term residential support (as a last resort when family or independent reintegration not possible)

  5. Snapshot of Achievements • Supported > 500 trafficking survivors • Trafficking prevention activities have reached est. 10,000 women and girls • Set up the 1st ever shelter home run by- and for trafficking survivors in South Asia (currently operate 3 shelters) • President ShaktiSamuha, Ms. Chari Maya Tamang was presented 'Hero acting to end modern day slavery award' (US State Dept'11)
