Synonyms frankness, openness, honesty, truthfulness, sincerity, forthrightness, directness, plain-spokenness, bluntness, straightforwardness, outspokenness; informal: telling it like it is. noun the quality of being open and honest in expression; frankness: a man of refreshing candor.
