  4. So what contributes to poor health? • Lack of • Money • Clean water • Food • Hygiene • Health services • Shelter • Education

Tuberculosis • Rates of infection have been steadily increasing since 1993 until now where there is a 1% increase in cases every year, of which 10-15% goon to develop the disease. • TB peaked in 2004/2005. • Now, about 30% of the world’s population may be infected with mycobacterium. • Common in SE Asia, Africa and rising in Europe. • Drug resistance becoming a problem.
