(Norton) ~ • Fossils • Branches of government • Vocabulary Words • amuse: to make someone laugh or smile • hem: the edge of a piece of cloth that is folded back and sewn down • squawked: a harsh abrupt scream • complicated: hard to understand, explain, or deal with; having many parts or steps • convinced: to cause (someone) to believe that something is true; or to cause someone to agree to do something • Reminders • Students have an ELA vocabulary quiz every Friday. • Planners need to be signed by an adult every night • Homework is due on Friday • All students should be in uniform Happy Birthday to:
