Fatehpur Sikri  Fatehpur Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals which was marked by splendid administrative, residential and religious buildings that included palaces, public buildings, mosques and courts, the army, the king's servants and the living areas of an entire city. This city was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar. He had planned to make this city his capital but the lack of water forced him to leave the city. Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585.
