STOP AT ONE is a campaign to be launched in October 2013 by the National Osteoporosis Society to encourage anyone over 50 who has broken a bone to have a bone check and find out if they are at risk of osteoporosis. STOP AT ONE: Key Messages If you are over the age of 50, have broken a bone and not been assessed by a Fracture Liaison Service /Health Professional, get a bone check: Contact the National Osteoporosis Society by phone / online for info, advice and support. nos.org.uk/stopatone or 0845 450 0230 Visit your GP to discuss your further fracture risk / bone health Osteoporosis should be picked up after the first bone break so get checked out and avoid more breaks: STOP AT ONE

  3. STOP AT ONE: Campaign Activity Media and advertising, national and regional, from October 2013, focussing around World Osteoporosis Day (20 October). Toolkit for all stakeholders including messages, statistics, posters, contact details and campaign advice. STOP AT ONE: Help us spread the word.
