  4. Key Verse: 2 Thessalonians 3:5 5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

  5. Key People: The Apostle Paul, Silas and Timothy

  6. Special Features: This is a follow up letter to 1 Thessalonians. In this letter, Paul indicates various events that must precede the second coming of Christ.

  7. “BUT I thought he said . . . ” “I’m sure he meant . . . ” “It is clear to me that we should . . . ” “I disagree. I think we must . ..”

  8. 2 Peter 3:17-18 17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
