Inception Stage- RFID technology was introduced to us in studio meetings. • Different applications of RFID technology to mitigate current construction project management incapability were proposed. • Different groups have various solutions and their own proposal. Yet, sharing of knowledge and findings enabled groups to refine their design. ________________________1. Studio Meeting

  4. A team, M.A.S.K., from different studio groups is formed to join the U21 RFID Award competition. • A few meetings were hold together with Dr. Lu to consolidate our final design and we decided to focus on construction site safety. • Special thanks have to be given to Prof. George Huang in the Department of Industrial Engineering in HKU, who gave us valuable inspiration and technical support. ________________________2. As one of the rewards, and with the generous sponsorships from the Faculty, our whole team was able to attend the Shanghai RFID study tour in October 2010. • Firm visits to high-technology companies were held and the HK Smart City+ Forum provided a platform for knowledge exchange. • Our team was given time to present our award-winning case. ________________________3.
