We kick off the New Year with new stores opening for One Mobile, Fono & Axiom Brands, and lots more planned for the rest of the year including Arabian Plaza Mirdiff. The figures in this News Letter relate to December, by you now all have your individual and store targets for Q1 09. This year will indeed be challenging, your Area Manager and Head Office Team are working hard to provide you with Hot Offers, Bundle offers & New product launches to help you generate sales and GP. You’re Role – The 2 key tasks I want you all to focus on is – Mystery Shopping Results – Whilst there are some good results many stores are getting poor results because they are NOT a) Offering another Model b) Offering an accessory c) inviting a customer to leave their business card or information. Selling Accessories – Only 5% of your customers purchase an accessory! Why? – What accessories can you easily sell - batteries, memory cards, and car chargers?  I want you to offer every customer who purchases a handset an additional Battery, Memory and a car charger- All you have to say is      “ the last customer who purchased that phone found this ………………. very useful, its only …….aed ”    What other ideas have you got to drive business?? – Please feed back to your Area Manager. The other major project that is soon to launch is RDD – Your unique training program – Watch this space!!! Have a great 2 weeks ahead and remember focus on customers and SELLING accessories. JIM

Retail Staff Incentive / Commission Scheme • “Back of House” staff, such as Team Leaders and Cashiers will be incentives to drive not only the GP deliverance of the total STORE, but the achievement of : • GP Sales • Minimum of 80% Mystery Shopping Results • Minimum of 90% Quality Audit • Minimum of 90% Retail Internal Audit • A clear list, at SKU level, will be produced for each salesman, outlining the Dhs incentive which may be achieved, when any given model of phone / accessory is sold. • What are the main CRITERIA to qualify for this scheme? • Team players such as cashiers and Team Leaders will be targeted to ensure that the entire store team achieves their overall STORE GP targets. This Week Kickers • DU INCENTIVE SCHEME • Reach your target and earn AED 5 per sim card sold. Also Bundle sales from Dec. 28 till end of DSF • GIVORI INCENTIVE • For every GIVORI Handset sales, staff is eligible for AED 50 for every handset sold from July 1st till TBA • NOKIA 6210 • Sell any piece of Nokia 6210 and earn AED 100 per piece till end of January • NOKIA BT BH215 • An incentive of AED 10 per piece sold of BH215 once you reach your target. Incentive valid till 15th of February

  9. Visual Merchandising Update After a great deal of speculation, Nokia have officially detailed their new Nokia N5800 XpressMusic touchscreen cell phone – known as the Nokia Tube. Boasting a 3.2” 640×360 nHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen touchscreen display complete with tactile feedback, the Nokia Tube N5800 XpressMusic cell phone – which measures in at 111×51.7×15.5mm - comes with integrated 3.2 megapixel camera (complete with Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, dual LED flash, 3x digital zoom and video capture capabilities up to 640×480 at 30fps) paired with a front mounted secondary camera allowing for video calling, an Alphanumeric and QWERTY keyboard (courtesy of the touchscreen) paired with handwriting recognition and, a ‘Dedicated Media Bar’ allowing for prompt access to the N5800’s image, video, music and web browsing features. The LG-KC910 is the perfect successor to the multi-million selling camera phone, LG Viewty. Like its predecessor, which debuted as the slimmest 5 megapixel phone, the LG-KC910 will be the slimmest 8 megapixel handset on the market at just 13.95 mm when released. This phone combines the latest multimedia features and an intuitive user interface evolved far beyond what Viewty offered.
