Southern Sierra Alpaca Farmers • Peru has 87% of the world’s Alpaca • By far the largest producer of Alpaca wool • 170,000 families make their living from Alpaca • International demand for Alpaca wool is increasing • Productivity of the animals has been declining because of eroded pastures
