Solutions • Franklin County Drug & Alcohol Program - Provides prevention and case management through literature, videos, consultations, and in service programs for all ages and groups. • Roxbury Treatment Center - Provides healthcare services to those with chemical dependency.
Solutions - Implement alternative treatment modalities to meet needs of clients and family. - Once admitted, patients go through recovery program. - The first phase of program is problem identification which patients along with a counselor discuss the problems impacting their life which brought them into treatment.
Solutions - Next, patient along with counselor develop a treatment care plan to guide the patient along their short- term and long-term goals of recovery. • Manito - Provides therapeutic services along with alternate education to address behavior problems.
Solutions - Program highlights: 1. Education programs in skill development along with GED preparation. 2. Social skills education in communication, conflict resolution, anger management, and drug & alcohol education. 3. Life skills education teaching independent living, employability skills, and understanding individual responsibilities of citizens.
Solutions 4. Individual and group counseling as well as treatment plans for clients. 5. Community service work. 6. Vocational and cultural field trips. 7. Transportation to and from program. • Chambersburg high school after school activities.
Solutions - High school offers a broad range of extracurricular activities spanning sports, art, and leisure aspects to keep students occupied. • YMCA - Offers a teen club for anyone grade 6-12. - Program runs September through end of school year.
Solutions - Activities include basketball, soccer, email, ping pong, foosball, dodge ball, computer games, trips to mall, and more. - Program also offers trips on days off from school, various night events, and a dance team.
