  1. Detailed Analysis Mock Test 6 (NLUD)- 2012-13

INTRODUCTION Mock Test 6 follows the pattern of National Law University, Delhi (NLU-D) entrance test wherein the students are subjected to the same level of difficulty both in terms of question type and level. The mock test comprises of five sections with a total of 150 questions. A student is expected to attempt this test in an actual test like environment wherein he has 90 minutes to complete the test and thus need to schedule his/her time accordingly.

  3. LEGAL APTITUDE This section had 35 questions comprising of both Legal Reasoning as well as Legal Knowledge. The section consisted of : • Legal Reasoning (15 questions) • Legal Knowledge (20 questions) Overall, the section was of Moderate difficulty level. The Legal Reasoning section specifically tested the ability of students to understand and interpret the legal principles and application of the same to the factual matrix to reach the best answer. And, in order to answer the questions based on Legal Knowledge, students were expected to have some basic knowledge of various concepts under Criminal Law, and Law of Contracts and further to be acquainted with general legal principles.

  4. DETAILS Legal Reasoning: The Legal Reasoning of Mock 6 was very much attainable. This section comprised of questions from two subjects Torts and Law of Contracts including but not limited to cluster questions. A stalwart approach towards legal reasoning makes it a very scoring sub-section of the paper. Legal Knowledge: The Legal Knowledge part of mock 6 was dominated by questions from General Legal Principles and Criminal Law. Pertinent topics from where the questions appeared were Latin legal terminologies, concepts under Law of Contracts and Torts, general principles of law.

  6. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE The GK section of this mock test has 35 questions in all with the difficulty level of moderate to hard. The test comprises of broadly two sections viz. Static GK and Current GK. According to the latest pattern and approach of the examination, more emphasis has been given on current GK. The questions from the Static GK are generalized and based on the different fields of the Static GK. In GK section, 13 questions are from Static GK. The questions from the Current GK are focused towards the important national and international events, persons; places etc. and they are primarily to let students aware with the current affairs. Moreover, in current GK, there is much emphasis on famous personalities.

  8. REASONING This section was of moderate level of difficulty. The section consisted of: • 5 questions on Critical Reasoning (Paragraph Based Questions) • 2 questions on Reason and Assertion • 2 questions on Analogies • 2 questions on Statement - Assumption • 12 questions of Analytical reasoning • 6 question of series • 2 questions of directions • 1 question of calendar • 2 question on linear equation

  11. MATHEMATICS This section of the test was of easy level of difficulty. This section consisted of • 7 questions of Arithmetic • 3 questions of equation

The section consisted of: • 5 questions on Grammar-Spot Error • 5 questions on Vocabulary-Synonyms • 2 questions on Vocabulary-Antonyms • 5 questions on Tenses (Fill in the Blanks) • 2 questions on Para Jumbles (Six Sentence Type) • 3 questions on Para Jumbles (Four Sentence Type) • 3 questions on Word Combinations • 1 Cloze Test (5 Blanks) • 1 Reading Comprehension (5 questions)
