(This the same organisation that has developed ITIL) • Recognised internationally and in the Australian public and private sector. • PRINCE2 is made up of key concepts – 8 processes / stages, 8 components and 3 techniques.

  4. PRINCE2 Benefits • Provides a single common and structured method for managing projects within a clearly defined framework • Each process is specified with its key inputs and outputs and with specific goals and activities to be carried out with enables an efficient control of resources as it is divided into manageable stages. • Provides formal recognition or roles and responsibilities with clear accountability and are fully described and are adaptable to suit the complexity of the project and skills of the organisation. • Describes what to do if the project has to be adjusted if it doesn’t develop as planned through early warning of problems. • Components and techniques describes procedures to coordinate people and activities in a project • Can be tailored to any project in any organisation.
