  3. Light Wave Lengths are… • The distance between the tops of two adjacent ripples

  4. Frequency is… • The number of wave lengths that pass a point in one second. These are some examples of different wavelengths.

  5. Electromagnetic Spectrum • Electromagnetic waves are classified according to their wave lengths and frequencies • There are many light waves that we cannot see • We can only see a very small part of the electromagnetic waves

  6. Electromagnetic Waves • As the wave length decreases the frequency increases this decides what we can see.
