Writers’ Notebook • For the first 10 minutes of so of class, draft an autobiographical essay that centers on your own English language arts (ELA) experiences as a younger student and/or as an adult student today. • If you need a few prompts…what did you like to read and write? What didn’t you like about ELA and why? What messages did you get from adults about ELA?
Turn and Talk and…??? • Turn and talk about your writers’ notebook writing (choice) • Syllabus or course questions? Revision on wikispace • Access to wikispace? • Comprehension and Vocabulary Lesson Plan assignment • Sample NERA Journal
