  1. การทดสอบฤทธิ์ต้านปฏิกิริยาออกซิเดชันด้วยวิธี DPPH Radical Scavenging Assay SORACHAI SAE-LIM Department of Chemistry Mahidolwittayanusorn School

  2. Evalutionof Antioxidation Activity The antioxidation activities of the crude extracts and pure compounds

  3. TheDPPHRadical Scavenging Assay AH = antioxidant compound DPPH = 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl

  4. Sample (30 ml) Spectrophotometer 0.05 mMDPPH (3mL) The antioxidation activities of the crude extracts Evaluation of Antioxidation Activity Absorbance at517nm TheDPPHradical scavenging assay

  5. Screening on the free radical scavenging activity of crude extracts DPPH Dichloromethane extract Acetone extract Methanolicextract

  6. Free radical scavenging activity of the pure compounds 40

  7. Inhibitory concentration (IC50) of the crude extracts

  8. The mechanism of trapping radical MF 10 MF 14 The results in terms of IC50 showed that MF 10, MF 11 and MF 14 showed strong radical scavenging activity. The activity of MF 10 and MF 14 possibly exhibited by the catechnolic moiety, orthodihydroxyl groups (3-OH and 4-OH of B-ring in MF 10 and 6-OH and 7-OH of A-ring in MF 14) (Sata, et al., 1992). 43

  9. The mechanism of trapping radical by MF 10 (Shahidi, et al., 1992).

  10. The mechanism of trapping radical by Ascrobic acid
