  13. DAILY SCHEDULE - DAY 1 THE FIRST DAY OF THE 6-DAY MEET WILL BE • DEVOTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROBLEM PRESENTATION • THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY FORMATION OF WORKING GROUPS FOR DIFFERENT SET OF PROBLEMS • EACH WORKING GROUP WILL BE LED BY A RESOURCE PERSON

DAY 4-5-6 • ALL WORKING GROUPS STRIVE TOWARDS FULL AND COMPLETE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM ON DAY 4-5 • ALL DAY FORMAL PRESENTATION OF THE APPROACH PAPER FOR SOLUTION OF THE RESPECTIVE PROBLEM ON DAY 6 • MANDATORY FOR ALL GROUPS TO SUBMIT A FULL REPORT ON THEIR RESPECTIVE PROBLEMS • WORKSHOP COORDINATORS PREPARE A FINAL REPORT BEFORE DEPARTURE

  17. STUDY GROUP MEETING MARCH 2009IN COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD, UK WILL MAINLY FOCUS ON PROBLEMS PERTAINING TO UTTARAKHAND • AGRICULTURE • ECOLOGY & ENVIRONMENT • FORESTRY • WATER RESOURCES & POWER • PETROLEUM RESOURCES THE PARTICIPATION WILL BE ON ALL-INDIA BASIS

RRC SPIN-OFF • VALUABLE FEED-BACK ON CURRENT COURSES AND PROGRAMMES • CONTINUOUS SOURCE OF PROJECT GENERATOR FOR FACULTY AND STUDENTS • EASY AVAILABILITY OF ADJUNCT FACULTY – INDUSTRY INPUTS, COURSE UPGRADING ETC. • MUTUAL SHARING OF RESOURCES – ACADEMIA AND INDUSTRY • KEY STIMULANT FOR PLACEMENT
