Autotroph vs. Heterotroph • Autotroph- an organism that makes it’s own food • Heterotroph- an organism that engulfs food. (Gets food from their environment) • Engulf- To Swallow, surround.
Cells and their Nucleus • Cell- smallest living organism • Nucleus- The “Brain” of the cell.
Prokaryote vs Eukaryote • Prokaryote- an organism that has NO nucleus • Eukaryote- a cell that contains a nucleus
Methods of Movement • Cilia- hair like structures used for movement and for obtaining food. • Flagella- a whip-like structure used for movement
