Advantages and benefits: • The accident fatality rate will be addressed more effectively. • Lawlessness on our roads will be addressed more effectively. • Visibility of Traffic Officers will increase with immediate effect. • Traffic Laws will be more vigorously enforced. • Traffic complaints will be attended to in a decisive manner. • Public Transport (taxis and buses) enforcement will be managed more effectively. • Morale and safety of current traffic staff will be enhanced. • Cape Town as a World Class City will improve its image considerably. • Significant reduction in overtime costs will be realised.
