3. Hospital base service • Patient evaluation and treatment Refraction, biometry (keratometry and A- scan) Glaucoma evaluation but no VF Posterior segment evaluation • Regular OR schedules on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday • Minor procedures on Monday and Wednesday.
Eye problems pose huge economic and social impact for affected individuals and to the society and the nation at large. • The policy makers will benefit from the data that the baseline survey and impact assessment of cataract surgery will generate and hence make data based decision on the allocation of resources. • Thus, implement appropriate, affordable and accessible interventions.
