Mr. Case’s Newsletter/Room 202 February 10th – February 14th wcase2@everettsd.org/ classroom #: 425.385.5652 Our Specialist Schedule: Monday - Music Tues. – Library Wed. – Computers Thurs. – Music Fri. – P.E. What We’re Learning: Reading: We’ll be reading fables and identifying and using text features. Math: 1st – We will take our topic 7 assessment and starting topic 8 “Tens and Ones”. 2nd – We will be finishing topic 8 “Adding Two-Digit Numbers”. Science: We will work in our engineering science kit called “The Best of Bugs” as well as our kit on soil. Writing: We will work on writing an opinion piece. Special Announcements: Thursday, Feb. 13th: Lifelong Learner Award Assembly for January’s word; communication. The assembly will start at 2:45! Friday, Feb. 14th: LIF Friday, students released at 2:10. Monday, Feb. 17th & Tuesday, Feb. 18th: No school, mid-winter break! Congratulations to our readers who made their A/R reading goal: Memphiss, Demetreus, William, Isabella and Jayden. We now have 11 total students who have met their goal. Way to go guys!
