  10. DIN rail attachment • Arctic 3G has grooves for optional DIN rail mounting brackets. • Mounting accessories include two DIN rail mounting brackets and four screws. (In picture product 2620, the 2622 mounting brackets are different) • The brackets can be installed horisontally or vertically to the bottom of the Arctic 3G gateway. This allows wide variety of installation positions.

  12. SIM card insertion 1. Turn off the unit 2. Insert the SIM card into the slot so that the contacts are facing down and the notched corner is facing out 3. Gently push the card into the slot with pointy object, e.g. with an unfolded paper clip 4. The card is in place when the notch of the card is inside the slot and behind the spring lever SIM card removal • To remove the SIM card from the slot, press the small lever in front of the SIM card ’s notched corner. Push from up to down; not from outwards to inwards

Ports are compatible with IEEE 802.3i (10BASE-T) and IEEE 802.3x (100BASE-TX) • The WAN port is for connecting upstream towards gateway to internet. If Arctic is directly connected to a computer via WAN port, a cross cable is needed • The LAN ports support MDI/MDIX detection, i.e. both cross connected and straight connected cables can be used • WAN and LAN ports can be interchanged Green Yellow

Serial ports Serial ports Slide 1/4 • There are three serial ports in the device. • RS1 port is for RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 connectivity • RS2 port is for RS-232 connectivity only • In addition to the two RS-ports, the console port is also connected with RS-232. It is differentiated from the RS1/RS2-ports by the connector type, which is RJ-45.

Should I be worried? • A: There is nothing to be worried about in this case. The certificate is signed by Viola Systems Ltd. This certificate is not among the trusted certificates in browser.
