  2. Step 1- DARE TO DREAM!!! • Identify personal career elements, reasons for change and desires (strengths, skills, interests, passions, life elements etc.)

  3. Step 2- MAKE IT REAL • Develop a clear career statement (what you want and need)

  4. Step 3 - EXPLORE • Investigate opportunities What is out there?

  5. Step 4 – REALITY CHECK • Audit your transferable skills • Identify gaps (job and industry knowledge, skills, connections) What will it take to get there?

  6. Step 5 – SET GOALS • Interim and long term Allow sufficient time that accounts for the level of change you are making

  7. Step 6 - PLAN • Outline strategy What needs to be done? By you, and others

  8. Step 7 - ACTION • Take the necessary steps Enjoy the journey ...

  9. Step 8 - PERSEVERE • Deal with setbacks, and barriers (they’re all part of the process)

  10. Step 9 – NEARLY THERE • Maintain motivation Don’t forget to be kind to yourself
