My solution filter keeps clogging. Can I just remove it? • The solution filter on the suction tube should not be removed and should be kept at least 2” from the bottom of the solution bucket or tank to prevent debris from clogging the filter and stopping the injector from functioning. If the filter is clogging, check to be sure that it is at least 2” from the bottom. If the solution is not thoroughly dissolved, your filter may become clogged. Check to be sure that your entire chemical is dissolved. You may need to add an agitator to keep the solution from settling. Keep the solution container covered so that debris does not contaminate your solution and clean the solution container occasionally to prevent dirt and scale build-up.
My injector is not working and is not clicking. What do I do? • Dosmatic injectors should make a gentle clicking noise when in operation. If it isnot clickingand your unit has just been installed: • Did you remember to remove the red plugs at the inlet and outlet openings? Additional issues to check: • Is the water pressure appropriate for the model injector? • Is the water flow within model specifications? • Is the water flow in the direction of the arrow located on the injector body? • Is the water source turned on? • Is the bypass valve closed and the inlet & outlet valves open?
If you are still experiencing problems… If your injector is not clicking and has been working previously: • Is the injector working at high water flows but not at low water flows? If so, then the problem may be a worn o-ring located in the lower area of the injector body. Inspect and replace the o-ring, if necessary. • Has the injector been disconnected from the water source for longer than 30 days? If so, submerge the injector in water for 24 hours so that the sealing parts can reabsorb water and swell back to the proper size. Is the injector still not clicking: • Do not open the upper body. Call the Dosmatic Technical Department at (800) 344-6767 or your local distributor for further assistance.

Be sure it is suspended at least 2” off the bottom of the solution container. Examine suction tube for blockage, crimping or cracking. Replace if necessary. • Inspect the dosage piston if worn replace. Dosage Piston/Shaft Replacement Be sure to first rinse the injector with clean water. The lower end may contain full strength solution that could be dangerous. Read the warning labels on the containers of chemicals being injected and observe any precautionary statements. See your instruction manuals for piston shaft removal and replacement If you are still experiencing a problem after following the above steps, call Customer Service at (800) 344-6767, Or contact your local distributor.
My water is draining back down the suction tube or backfilling and overfilling the solution container?
