INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT & INFO Click On photo Tivy Whitlock is the Continuing Education Specialist for Workforce Development and Community Education at Alamo Colleges, Northeast Lakeview College. As a Presidential Scholar, she earned her B.A. in Business from Southwestern University in Georgetown and is a past recipient of Southwestern University‘s Young Alumna Achievement Award. Tivy also has a master‘s in Adult and Higher Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Tivy currently sits on the Committee on Childcare Licensing Standards, as appointed by Governor Perry. Professionally she‘s worked in the San Antonio area for more than 20 years having been employed in diverse companies ranging from PBS to USAA. Teaching is something that is near and dear to her heart, especially working with parents, children and families. Tivy is a registered, professional master level trainer, behavior management instructor, and a specialty trained parent educator working with adult learners and children of all ages. She and her husband, Paul, have been blessed with three children now ages 9, 6, and 4. Additionally, she grew up in a career military family, and has lived and traveled all over the world. twhilock@alamo.edu
