  5. Meals in our school • In our school is a big canteen, where the pupils can eat during the lunch break • the meals are often combined with other food • E.g. Pizza or Spaghetti with sauces

  8. Culture in Germany • Are about 6,7 Mio foreigners • Lots of people from Turkey, Italy and Poland • In former times Germany wanted lots of workers • We live together

  9. Survey in the class 9c • Facts 19 made this survey • Hole school are more children with foreign roots (30-40%) • 5 foreigners in the class

Results of the survey 89% like to eat food from other countries 11% eat just German • All pupils have foreign friends and they live good with their foreign friends 15% like Spaghetti /15% Döner 70% Pizza All kids eat meals by their parents, but sometimes: 32 % eat food, that is prepared 53% don’t do that 15% do that sometimes All kids learn something about other cultures 54 % says that the languages are difficult 46% says no that not so difficult 80% find the culture and meals of other countries are very interesting; 20% say “NO”

  11. Our Result • Can realize that the traditions and customs are different • But our heart belongs to be good friends • Our language and sometimes our kinds are different, but we have to respect each other • We are a community
