  3. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE • “Study and Design of Intelligent Agent” – a system, a machine doing human jobs and behaviors, understanding human thougth, speech. • Example: robots, playing chess machine (Deep Blue), virtual people (virtual girlfriends), Virtual reality…

Danger of AI • With increasing advanced technology , robots can take over human world in the near future. • People are easy to get out of their real world, to be lazier mentally and physically. • Examples: virtual friends, virtual world can move people out of their real life • Using robots commonly destroy people ability to do things. • Asimov’s law

  6. ASIMOV’S LAW • Never carry out an action which cause any injury to any human being. • Always obey human being’s orders provided the first law is not violated. • Always try to protect itself, provided the first two laws are not violated.

  7. Hollywood with AI technology • AI – Artificial Intelligence (2001) – nominated for 2 Oscars. A highly advanced robotic boy on the long journey to find the way becoming real human to regain love from his human mother. • I, robot (2004) with Will Smith – the man who stop robots coming out of control, breaking the Asimov’s law and take over human world. This based on the novel of the father of Asimov’s law .

  8. AI Application • Diagnosis – developments of algorithm and technique to check whether system behavior true or false. • Computer game bot – playing video game with computer.
