  4. Introduction What will it be when classic country music mixes with modern pop music?

  5. Different phases of her career • Strove to make her dream come true • Her first song “Lucky You” • First single－ “Tim McGraw” at 16 • First album－ “Taylor Swift” in 2006 • She was also a popular actress

  6. Lyrics writing • To help her express her feelings • Helped her release from not fitting in school • Shania, LeAnn Rimes, Tina Turner, and Dolly Parton

  7. Music composing • Listened to songs on the radio and followed classic patterns • Started writing songs at the age of 12 • Hired by Sony/ATV Tree publishing house at the age of 14 • Songs are all written by herself

  8. Songs Teardrops on My Guitar • A real story of hers • Won the “Best New Artist Award” • No. 11 on the “Billboard Hot One-hundred”

  9. Songs Love Story • First country track to become a chart topper in the Mainstream Top 40 chart • Country elements made the rock fresher and not that heavy tasted

  10. Conclusion • Her songs are easy to listen to and understand. • unlike songs that are just about some fake stories • In short, though it was tiring to do this research, we still learnt a lot from either Taylor Swift or the research.
