Working Group Updates CCWG • COPMGRR015, Section 8, ERCOT Settlement and Invoice Process • COPMGRR016, Update to Section 12, Renewable Energy Credits, align with PRR808 • ERCOT has requested input on what Really Simple Syndication (RSS) Feeds Market Participants would like available for the ERCOT.com website. ERCOT will provide a live demo to COPS at their January meeting • Work continues on the COPS Market Guide
Working Group Updates PWG • Draft in progress for Annual Validation suspension per AMS has been discussed and shall be on the next PWG agenda • LPGRR shall be in order for changes per the NOIE DRG TF when the TF is complete • Draft LPGRR to clean up Section 1.1, Document Control per Market Rules • Draft Administration LPGRR to clean up type-o on Decision Tree
Working Group Updates SEWG • Extract and Report issues SLA from mid April to May posted • An extract issue involving a change to the ‘Descriptor Value’ was discussed and ideas for process improvements involving the communications of similar changes in the future will be considered • Working with MCWG on possible accelerated Nodal DAM Settlement Timeline; discussion focused on the option of reducing the due date in the DAM timeline by 1 day as opposed to 2 days
COPS 2009 Accomplishments CCWG • Approved COPMGRRs 09, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 • Approved SCR 755, Website Improvements • Finalizing COPMGRRs 15 and 16 • Worked on the Client Support Survey • Updated COPS Procedures twice • Reviewed TPTF Final Report to TAC • Determined where COPS can assist, identified transitional issues, and determined COPS SMEs • Reviewed Market Communications
COPS 2009 Accomplishments PWG • LPGRR033 Synchronization of Load Profiling Guide with PRR804 • LPGRR034 Profile Model Spreadsheets - Calendar Extension and Delete Unused Models • LPGRR035 Addition of Time Of Use Schedules (TOUS) to Profiles with Interval Data Recorder (IDR) Meter Data Type Codes for Advanced Meters • Round 2 sample load research data collection on schedule • UFE 2008 Report and Hurricane UFE discussions on profile adjustments • Annual Validation 2009 • Assisted with PRR language defining the process and scenarios for changing IDRs to Advanced Meters at request of RMWG • IDR Analysis completed with recommendation to keep 700 kW threshold • Evaluated and recommended profile scaling factors method remain same • Evaluated and recommended UFE allocation factors in lieu of AMS remain same • Evaluated and recommended distribution loss method due to AMS remain same
COPS 2009 Accomplishments SEWG • Created an Issues Tracking report in conjunction with ERCOT to track and monitor Extract and Report Issues. • Maintained regular reporting from ERCOT on the progress of Nodal COMS, the design of Reports and Extracts for the Nodal Market • Engaged ERCOT in recalculation and further analysis on UFE during the Hurricane Ike event • Completed the Data Extracts and Reports Service Level Agreement
COPS 2009 Accomplishments NOEI DRG TF • Raised Market awareness and created forum for discussion of Nodal requirements for registration and settlement of DG > 50 kW & ≤ 1 MW • Brought forth concepts to COPS in regards to the registration and settlement of DG > 50 kW & ≤ 1 MW • Close to finalizing recommended language for NPRR for review by COPS
