F/V MISS CHINA • 26 Dec 2010 - Nantucket, MA • F/V MISS CHINA - 67’ wooden fishing vessel (shrimper) • Detached from mooring, grounded at Brant Point Lighthouse • Significant threat to environmentally-sensitive shellfish beds • Owner abandoned vessel – USCG opened federal project • Vessel was refloated and towed to Steamship Authority pier • 4650 Gallons of oily waste / sewage removed from vessel

F/V DAMARISCOTTA • 3 Jan 2011 – Point Judith, RI • F/V DAMARISCOTTA - 45’ Fiberglass stern trawler • Sank in 20 feet of water, 30 yards off Town Pier • Navigation channel partially obstructed • Vessel was refloated and towed to mooring • 236 Gallons of diesel removed from vessel • Approx. 54 Gallons of diesel recovered from water
