  2. ACCC Mission and Recommendations ACCC Mission : Using best practices from the co-curricular world in classroom instruction and vice versa. Identifying ways that the two learning environments can complement each other and address the gaps in each system. Recommendations: Improve coordination and funding of co-curricular activities in order to assure that all students in Oregon have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities.

Opportunities for Discussion Current recommendation addresses coordination, funding, opportunity to participate K-12 Academic Programs in Schools Linked programs: K-12 and Co-curricular Co-curricular Programs Independent of K-12 System • Potential additional opportunities: • Share focus on learning priorities • Enhance teaching effectiveness • Expand mission-driven collaboration • Validate effectiveness
