Phloem • Phloem is found in vascular plants and is used to carry nutrients (ex: sucrose) made during photosynthesis in the leaves to other parts of the plant. • Some organelles found in phloem are cytokinin which was important because its signals maintain the cells identities, this is necessary for formation of the phloem. • Many organelles dissolve at maturity, in the cell. Though they do still have cytokinin and smooth endoplasmic reticulum.
