HAN-224-11.81 • IR-75/US-224 interchange status: • $11.5 Million funded with Turnpike Funding • Independent project • 2014 construction
Project Overview – HAN-224-11.81 • Reconstruct of I-75 interchange with USR 224 • Reconstruction and widen of bridge • Adding lanes • Turn Lanes on and off bridge • Replacing existing signals
Maintenance of traffic HAN-224-11.81 • Part-width construction • One lane in each direction • Closures/Detours: • Short duration closures of ramps and USR 224 • Short term use of ramps to maintain I-75 traffic
Project Overview – HAN-75-14.39 • Construction scheduled for 2017 but could begin as early as 2015 • Reconstruct & widen I-75 to 6 lanes • New Right-of-Way Required • Began to purchase R/W Feb. 2013 • Current Estimated Construction Cost: $150 Million
Project Overview – HAN-75-14.39 • Harrison St overpass reconstructed • Lima Ave interchange reconstructed with US68/SR15/IR75 interchange • New Service Rd near ODNR • Roundabouts on Lima Ave at ramps
Project overview – han-75-14.39 • The following overpasses will not be replaced as part of this project: • CR 88 – Sandusky Street • SR 12 – Main Cross Street • US 224 – Construction 2014 • CR 95 – Bigelow Avenue • CR 99
Maintenance of traffic HAN-75-14.39 • MOT is preliminary at this time • Project separated into Four Zones • 3 MOT Methods • Maintaining 2 lanes each direction on I-75 and 1 lane each direction on US68/SR15 • Hybrid Method – System to System Interchange
I-75 North of Findlay • Multiple projects funded with turnpike revenue • Reconstruction & widen of I-75 from two to three lanes in each direction • From County Road 99 in Hancock County to I-475 in Wood County • Distance of 31.6 Miles • Estimated Total Cost: $220 Million
I-75 North of Findlay • Widening will take place in the existing median • Median width 84’ for the north 2/3 of the project length and 50’ - 60’ for south 1/3 of the project • Cable barrier north of Cygnet Road, concrete barrier south of Cygnet Road • Two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of the project

I-75 North of Findlay: Oil Center Rd. to Portage Rd. • Estimated Cost: $50M
