  1. Downhill Ice Cross Extreme Ice-Skating

  2. Whatisdownhillice cross? • It is similar to ski crossand snowboard cross, except with ice skates on an ice track. • Type of competitors: Competitors race in heats of four skaters.   3. Equipment! • To be safe during the race, competitors are wearing the same outfit as hockey players (except the hockey stick)

  4. What about the races? • Canada is really famous for those races but they occur everywhere in the world. • The best racers are mostly from Canada, Finland and Sweden. • Most of the downhill ice cross are supported by the Red Bull company like most of the other extreme sports events, they are called: Red Bull Crashed Ice.

  5. Who’s the best? • Kyle Croxall, a 23 yearsoldcanadian, is, from far, the best in the RedBullCrashedIcecompetitions. • He is a firefighter and also a hockey player.
