Think eBay, Amazon, … • We already use this in Smart Grid technologies. • 3D virtual worlds will be created with increasing spatial accuracy. The economic models and policy issues are yet to be resolved, but we can all play a part in that. • The best things happen when technology, economic incentives and policy are aligned; easy to say, hard to do. • Our profession is exciting , rapidly developing and multi-disciplinary; we all need to market it to the next generation.
